The girls had a really nice 4th of July. We were a bit limited since Kira still has her cast so no swimming or playgrounds but they did lots of playing with Grandma and Grandpa Howard, they did lots of twirling and a quick walk once it cooled down a bit, a big dinner of steak, corn on the cob, salads and cupcakes and then their first time watching fireworks! We just watched from our deck. Since there are so many bans on fireworks, there were not as many as last year but we were able to watch for about half an hour. We ate more (of course) so it was a very nice night. Perfect temperature and a starry night. The girls loved staying up that late and both girls did really good making it to 11pm!
