Snow in November

I forgot to post this earlier with the girls pictures but this is how much snow we have on the ground right now! Crazy but I think we are going to lose most of it, at least here in the valley, in the next week or so.

Kit is 6 Months!

My musical baby. Kit's first time eating peas. Kit out in the snow. Kit thinks she's big enough for some pop. Kit's first time sitting. Kit hanging out with Max. My happy little girl.

Kit is half a year already! She is doing so good. She is sitting like a champ now. No crawling yet but she likes to be on her tummy more so maybe she'll start working towards that now. She has decided that sleeping through the night is for the birds so we are hoping she will return to that soon. The last few nights she has been up every two hours :( She just loves Kira and thinks everything Kira does is the funniest thing ever. I think they are going to have so much fun together. Well, Kit went to the doctor and she now is 14 lbs. 1.5 oz. (4th%) and 25 1/2 inches tall (25th %). Besides how little she weighs, she is doing great! Our doctor does want her to start having two formula bottles a day but unfortunately, she doesn't take bottles! We are trying though so hopefully we can start getting some weight on her!

A few more of the girls.

I forgot I had these when I posted previously. I don't know where my head is half the time :)

The girls together.

I took a few pictures of the girls together the other day since it turned out they had similar shirts on. I thought they were pretty cute.

Kira is 26 Months!

Kira is 26 Months Old! Here she is with her pumpkin when we brought it home.Kira asleep with bunny and Max on the way home from visiting friends in Salt Lake City. Our first snowfall of the season and Kira was out there as soon as she could. Eating the snow of course. We had to be quick to tell her the rule about yellow snow :)

Kira is getting so big. I can't believe how much she talks now. She is such a big helper, Loves to stand on a chair and "help" wash dishes. She is such a good mommy to her baby doll and loves to entertain her sister...if only she would share her toys with Kit! She had a really big past month with visits from her Grandma and Grandpa Hopper, driving out to Yellowstone, Trick-or-Treating for the first time and helping to carve her first pumpkin. She is such a little character and we couldn't be more happy with her.

Halloween

Kira helping me carve the pumpkin.
Here are the pictures from the girls on Halloween.
We took Kira Trick-or-Treating for the first time this year. It rained the entire time but she loved it. She kept saying "next house" and was just plain sweet. She also went to a costume party but her shy side prevailed and she refused to be in any pictures so we left after about an hour. Kit stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa Howard while Bryan and I went with Kira Trick-or-Treating. They got stuck manning the door, watching two Yorkies that hate Halloween and hanging out with Kit. Next year we will expect Kit to earn her keep though and Trick-or-Treat rain or shine with her sister :)
