    Easter Egg Hunt!

The girls had a really nice Easter starting yesterday with a trip to pick a book and a treat from Grandma and Grandpa Hopper, their gifts of new clothes, new hats and candy from Grandma and Grandpa Howard and today they woke up to their Easter egg hunt, cinnamon rolls, playing outside with all their new toys, a walk and a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Howard's for Ham dinner!  They both seemed to have a lot of fun today and it was beautiful out so that made it all the nicer.

Baby Animal Days

The girls went to Baby Animal Days at the American West Heritage Center here in Logan today.  Paula came with me to help out and boy was it needed!!! She even jumped a fence for me since Kit dropped her pacifier while on a train ride.  The girls had a lot of fun, they pet all the animals and how could a kid not love that :)  The only sad thing was when we got in line to ride the ponies a gun show had started so they stop the pony rides since the gun fire spooks the ponies.  Poor Kira was quite sad she missed it but it was already past lunch time so we had to leave.  Next year we will make sure we get the pony rides in!

Kira girl is doing really good.  She is skating like a champ and is loving being outside again.  We go for walks as much as we can to work off some of that 3 year old energy but we are very excited to get a yard in so these kids can play!  She went to the dentist this past month and was such a big girl!  Last time they couldn't even get her to open her mouth but this time they did a full cleaning, flossing and x-rays. I'm loving some of the pros of her getting bigger but I you can't help but miss "baby Kira".
