Kira is two and a half!
A couple of girls off my hockey team (Katie and Lisa) decided to make the girls giraffes and they completed the purple one yesterday so Kira was quite excited with it today!

Kira is 2 1/2 now! She is doing so good. She was really coming along on the potty training but since we have started packing for the move she has completely stopped using the bathroom. Hopefully we can get back on track soon. Oh, on that note...We sold our house! We close today and will be moving to an apartment over the weekend. Our new house will hopefully be built by the beginning of June. We are so excited but not crazy about apartment living...again. Anyways, back to Kira :) She is the sweetest and most "helpful" little kid :) I can't believe she is 2 1/2 now! Oh, she is sleeping at her Grandma and Grandpa Howard's tonight for the first time! We'll have to see how this goes with no mom and dad around but she is a pretty brave little bugger so I think she will handle it like a champ.

Kira and the toothbrushes.
Kira used to chew on toothbrushes when she was Kit's age but had given it up until her little sister started it up. Now both girls have decided it is the greatest thing in the world.
Winter is back.
After three days in the 50's and all of our snow pretty much gone, it went and snowed on us again last night. Our deck was completely clear yesterday and this was 8:00 am today.

Kit is 9 Months!

Kit is nine months already! She is doing pretty good. She is just now getting over a pretty rough cold that she got almost two weeks ago. Poor girl! She stopped eating pretty much everything except for nursing but hopefully she will come around shortly. She is pulling herself up on everything like a champ...We are very proud. No steps yet but she is getting braver all the time about letting go. We went to the doctor today and both girls have ear infections!
At least Kit didn't need antibiotics but Kira is feeling pretty miserable :( We also found out that Kit has been measured on the boy charts and not on the girl charts so she has been fine on weight all along....until this checkup. The girl hadn't even gained a full pound :( But she has been sick for almost two weeks and hasn't been eating so we have to go back in for a weight check in a month. So Kit is weighing in at 14 lbs. 15 oz. (3%) and 26 1/2 in. long (20%). Other than that she is looking good! We just have to get some weight on her.

Kira is 29 months. She is doing so good. I think she is coming down with a cold though :( Kit and I are both down and out with one so I think it is just a matter of time. She went for her first time to have lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Howard without anyone else! She did really good without mom and dad and we are pretty excited to know she can do ok without us for a bit. She is doing a little better with sharing though its more like trading. Kira grabs whatever Kit has and stuffs something else in her hands and calls it good....She will eventually get it.....right?
