Kit is 2 Months!

Kit is 2 Months! She is doing so good. We went to the doctor today and she is 10 lbs. 4 oz. (25%) and 22 1/4 inches long (25%) so she is doing really good. She does have a flat spot on her head that we need to work on, Our doc. gave us a month to see some progress otherwise he is sending her to physical therapy. Hopefully we can handle it though. She is smiling all the time now and such a good baby. I can't believe two months have gone by already!

Kira is doing great! She has been such a good sister. She sings to Kit and kisses her when she cries. She has been playing with her bunny like it is her baby....so sweet! Her Grandma and Grandpa Howard have moved out here and are staying with us for a little bit so she is beyond thrilled (as are we) and she is now getting that extra attention so a lot less acting out when we are busy with Kit. She has had a very nice summer so far with going to the park all the time and now she has that pool filled up so she is just loving life.

Father's Day/ Art Festival and some random shots.

Kit sound asleep in the swing...She actually slept 7 1/2 hours like this! Now why can't she do that in her crib??? Kit on the way to the art festival. Maggie and Kira on Father's Day. The Merryweathers were nice enough to invite us up to Bear Lake for a cookout. It was so much fun to see them again and for the girls to wear themselves out. Kira on the way home, She was just about to fall asleep and was looking quite mad at us for keeping her up so late. Finally out. Kit asleep when we got home, Kira fought the playground and the playground won. Some photos of Kit from today. It is in the 80's so are trying to hide from the heat indoors. Kit is 1 Month!

I can't believe it but Kit is one month already!


This is just a sampling of the photos we have taken over the past couple weeks. Kit is doing amazing. Up every three hours so the nights are still a little rough. She has also decided she likes to be held from around 4am to 5am so trying to remember it only lasts for a little bit and then she won't want to be held at all so really trying to look at the bright side :)

She was at the doctor for her two week appt. and she was 7 lbs. 8oz. (25%) and 20 1/4 inches (40%). The Doctor was very impressed by the weight gain since the goal at the 2 week appt. is to be back to birth weight so very pleased. Kira is doing good with her. She gets a wee bit rough and tries to pick her up all the time but I think we are going to have so much fun when Kit hits the one year old stage and they can wear each other out!
